Practicizing methods of seeking information and reading with comprehension texts in English related to the subject of study
The general information about the module:
Students read and analyse English written texts in chemistry, chemical technology and engineering. Read and translate into Polish text in catalogues, scientific papers, patents, analyse spoken content of scientific movies etc.

Class | Evaluated are activity of the student during excercises, number of absences and results of written test |
The final grade | Written test. The student receives questions from the material developed in class. Ratings: 61-68% grade 3.0; 69-76% grade 3.5; 77-84% grade 4.0; 85-92% grade 4.5; 93-100% grade 5.0. Final grade in the subject: test score + points for active participation in classes (taking into account the coefficient of the passing date: 1 - first term, 0.9 - second term, 0.8 - third term). In the case of an excessive number of unjustified absences (i.e. more than 3), the final grade is reduced by half a grade. |
