The aim of studying and bibliography

The main aim of study: The main objective of the seminar is preparing students for writing an engineering thesis and presenting the results.

The general information about the module: The module is conducted in 7th semester and includes 15 hours. The module is completed with multimedia presentation of the thesis results.

Attention: Depending on the epidemic situation, verification of the achieved learning outcomes specified in the study program, in particular credits and examinations at the end of specific classes, can be implemented remotely (real-time meetings).

7 TK01 Interpersonal communication: fundamental aspects, creation of credibility and trust. The rules of verbal communication: techniques of argumentation. The role of the voice. Principles of non-verbal communication: facial expressions, eye contact, gestures, posture and body movements, interpersonal distance. The role of the appearance. 7 TK02 Meeting with the mentor. Scope and subject of the engineering thesis. Thesis as a systematization of knowledge about the problem.Gathering of literature data, their selection and evaluation. Thesis objective – official and scientific requirements. Discussion on rules of writing a thesis: text structure, form, style, rules of text division, literature quotations. Discussion on preparing a multimedia presentation, rules of seminar delivery. Consultation during thesis preparation. Laboratory Evaluation of multimedia presentation, paper and research results of the engineering thesis. Grade from multimedia presentation and paper is an arithmetic average given by the teachers present during the seminar. Correctness of the responses during discussion is evaluated by the teacher. The correctness of the responses asked by students are evaluated by the teachers present in the seminar.
