The aim of studying and bibliography

The main aim of study: Students are introduced to general concepts concerning production and transformation of different products derived from microorganisms as well as biotransformations with the use of enzymes. Topics include molecular mechanisms and applied technologies.

The general information about the module: Module is realised in first semester. Contain 15 hours of lectures and 15 hours of laboratory classes. Module ends with an written colloquium.

Basic requirements in category skills: Scientific information searching skills - internet and traditional literature. Laboratory experience - basic operations, safety, buffer and other solution preparation, automatic pipettes
